Cindy Rauth, ELAC Academic Coordinator

Cindy Rauth earned her B.A. in Latin American and Iberian Studies from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and M.A. in TESOL from University of Washington, Seattle. She began teaching ESL so that she could travel the world and her first teaching job took her to Oporto, Portugal in 1997. She has also lived in Chile, France, and southeastern Europe, where she worked as a lecturer at the University of Montenegro and a teacher trainer for Ministry of Education and Science. She also taught language and TEFL methodology to pre-service teachers at the University of Rijeka in Croatia. Cindy has been teaching advanced English language classes and training teachers for SILC and the UofA’s EASL/ELAC programs since 2007.
